Villager: Altair

A speckled dragon stands at the east gate of Quetzal Palace, waiting; head tilted up towards the starry expanse. He takes the night shift, sword and shield in hand, ready to defend his people.

Altair is a warrior, a protector. He isn't perfect - sometimes he fumbles his sword, has to rest, or needs to go back to heal. But being a protector is his sworn duty, the dream he swore to uphold. Not being a veteran wouldn't change that. Raised in Quetzal Palace, he is loyal to Mayor Ana, and to those he helps protect.

Sometimes he's not the easiest to get along with - unamiable and serious to a fault. Humor can sometimes fly right past him, but at the very least he has a strong passion to fulfill his duty. Though for the most part sticking to the book, Altair shows mercy - as long as the offender is deserving of his trust.

Protect. Preserve. Prosper.

Those are the words he follows, the keys to Quetzal's fortune.
