This villager will be a paintie of a member of my Arkesiel species.
Gender is listed as Neutrois because this species completely and utterly does not comprehend gender, at all. They lack all psychology related to gender, cannot understand it in other species, and it is impossible for them to gender align.
They do not have different sexes either; they have only one. They are monoecious, producing both types of gamete, the rest of their biology comparable to placental mammals. They have only this one single sex.
Most Arkesiel are xenophobic snobs and insist upon xe/xem/xir pronouns only. Exelsiel is the leader of the oppressive empire of Arctic Arkesiel and Xe is the snobbiest and most xenophobic of them all. Xe is the primary antagonist of Xir story.
Arkesiel have two major racial groups: tropical and arctic. The arctic ones generally hail from a more snobbish and xenophobic society, while the tropical ones, while undeniably privileged compared to the human subspecies of Earth, are usually friendlier towards them since they kind of don't like the Arctic aristocracy either. Of course, exceptions exist on both ends.
