I used to think the world moved so quickly. There was never any time to stop and catch your breath. You had to be doing this, or that, thinking and feeling and moving and being. Everything was so hectic back then, and I was caught up in the rush of the river of the world.

Then one day, I stepped out of the water. I felt the sturdy ground beneath my feet and the air in my lungs, and I marvelled at how suddenly still the world was. I was here. I existed. The river kept moving but the land quietly held it in its place.

It's good to stop everything once and a while.
