Azelo and his twin brother, Oleza, were born to mother Yessame and father Nuka. While growing up, they were best friends. As they got older though, Azelo grew cold to his brother and parents. He overheard their parents talking and found out they favored his younger brother at just the mere age of eleven. Though learning this, he always looked after his brother. Fast forward to fifteen years old, and their parents were murdered. Oleza was devastated while Azelo barely shed a tear. Put in a horrible foster care system, the boys were split up. Azelo left the system by running away while Oleza was there until he was eighteen, then he moved to serve the royal court in Arinthian. During the rebellion. Azelo joins the guard to keep an eye on his brother, though secretly is part of the rebellion against the crooked king, Zalifay. When Azelo finds out that his brother married the king, he is livid and tries to tell him otherwise. Oleza retorts, bringing back their past, their parents, and accuses him of their murder for the first time. Oleza doesn't speak to his brother until Azelo is found of treason and tortured. Zalifay convinces Oleza to kill his brother, and during the struggle, Azelo kills the king, leaving his twin in despair. Azelo tries to make amends, and slightly succeeds. Now he has to worry about his nephew, Fenrii, who seems to take after the fallen king.
