The ability to put others at ease; it almost seems like the passerby has an enchanted tongue, and he leaves a string of significantly happier people where-ever he wanders.
Samuel is the second youngest of my band of cheerful miscreants. At 19, he doesn't have many goals or ambitions to speak of. The beginning of spring encourages him out of his cluttered home and into the streets of Na'vi Village, where he charms the local shopkeepers, unintentionally coaxing them into giving him free and discounted cuts of their stock.
He's usually oblivious to distractions when he's thinking, often walking by shouting people with his gaze trained on a particular plant or thoughtfully contemplating the existence of pets and the strangeness associated with keeping them. This will often cause him to trip on things (or others). His fumbling and bumping into things is greatly tolerated by most everyone. Sam's closest friends don't mistake his absent-minded blundering as stupidity; they know better, being subject to many of his excited rants about certain theories, or the discovery of a new hobby.
Currently, the only others that see him as a clumsy fool are Eirwyn, who 'simply cannot stand the incessant chatter', and Kiki, who is similarly irritated and envious of him. His feelings are surprisingly difficult to trample, outwardly showing emotion for only a second before he turns and beams at you, silently forgiving you for any insults. The death of his mother and sister will always be a sore spot for him, and can cause him to slip into a depression. He's strongly protective of his private life, and if anyone that gets close to him turns against him or away, he takes it very hard. Fortunately, nothing of that nature has happened in his young life yet.
If you ask his other friends or any of the locals, they see a young adult with a strong thirst to learn and bubbly happiness constantly shining in his eyes. He's a source of sunshine for many, often describing him to inquirers with a sense of fondness, as if he's their adopted son.

Significant Other (male preferred, must be tolerant of bubbly, outgoing characters with a non-gendered attitude. Sam isn't clingy and has great independence, but will need to be coaxed into action when scared/anxious )
Father (his father willingly let Samuel pursue his own path, but mostly just because he didn't want the responsibility of a child. he was a one night stand baby, so if you feel comfortable with your grumpy old man oc having an illegitimate son hmu )
