Hauyne is an expert metalsmith and an amateur gemologist that doesn't mince his words; unlike the blades he forges, he is known for being blunt. He is passionate about his profession and finds there is no greater joy than forging legendary weapons and armour from steel. Hauyne has hopes to pass on his vast wealth of knowledge to his apprentice, whom he loves to share his passion of smithing and gemology with. His apprentice agrees that his large collection of gemstones and weapons is impressive. As much as enjoys spending time with his apprentice, teaching him the ways of metalsmiths, Hauyne has since grown to develop a crush on him; sadly, he is afraid to admit his feelings for the younger male in fear of ruining the relationship they share as professionals.
Occasionally he tries out different activities in his work such as the creation of jewelry as to impress his apprentice. No matter how blunt he comes off as, he's always there to take care of anyone if they need him.
