Villager: Filifera

Fil is a plant alien, the last known of their particular kind. Keeps to themselves and generally quiet at first, though loves their friends and very loyal. While they sometimes get depressed with the fact they're the last of they're kind, they find comfort in their friendships and it fulfills the empty gap. When very excited they make a mewing sound that's equivalent to a squee, when extremely angered they make a loud roar. Loves birds and exploring new places and planets, as long as it's not too cold. They really love rainy weather and muddy terrain, however.
Despite taking after a palm tree, they are able to withstand freezing weather by means of the leaves around their neck and their very sturdy, tentacle-like roots. Nonetheless, they prefer warmer weather and tends to get seasonal depression. The number of leaves on their head depends on how warm the weather is. When it's warm they have a full head of leaves and even long strands of small white flowers, and when it's cold they have around 4-3 leaves. Plant-eating insects such as grasshoppers and the like would also be like mosquitos to them, so they're pretty tense around them.
Fil feeds exclusively on liquids with their roots and speaks telepathically. They spend a lot of time with their roots in water though they love fruit juices the most and their favorite liquid-based food is tomato basil soup.
They're generally very sweet and very awkward, though can take a stand when push comes to shove. They don't really tend to hold a grudge over little things however and forgives easily if the person shows they've changed.
