Cen was an excon who decided to turn his life around and start a ranch with the assets he.....gathered.....over his career. He only hires excons who seriously want to leave their old lives behind and make a decent living. He always does rodeo shows. Cen is a texas longhorn.
Attano is an excon man who used to use poison to do his dirty work, until someone turned it on him. It left his body weak and some muscles atrophied, requiring him to use a cane. He also has seizures and times where his mind just blanks out and he freaks out and attacks, fearing his life is in danger. Cen holds him still until these pass. Attano has a ring tailed cat pet that he saved from rat poison. His name is Hemlocke and he has learned to signal to Attano when these attacks are coming so they can be ready for it. Attano works as a cook in Cen's ranch and Hemlocke helps him grab ingredients around the kitchen. Attano is a mountian lion (puma, cougar, et cetera.)
Brelan was a snake oil salesman and a cheating gambler. They are quite sure that he has left that life behind, but he runs a little gambling stand during rodeos at the ranch to make some extra money--under Cen's watchful eye. Brelan is a flamingo.
