Barley is a simple fellow, though that should not be mistaken for a lack of intelligence. He just likes to take his time in life, carefully tending plants and animals, enjoying warm rays of sunshine whenever they break through the icy clouds. He's gentle and mild-mannered, though if you hurt someone near and dear to him, expect to be on the wrong side of those fangs. He really wishes he could wear a straw hat.
