Villager: Zuka

Zuka is a troubled, gentle soul. Well, he tries to be gentle. Zuka can have sudden bursts of rage if provoked, going into a sort of frenzy. In this state he tends to lash out violently, almost in a feral-like way. When frenzied he’ll usually try to attack anyone and anything that looks at him the wrong way. He has a hard time containing these fits on his own so he collects title trinkets that he finds calming. Whether it be a special plush, a shiny stone, or anything that brings him a calming sensation. When Zuka isn’t frenzied, he tends to be very polite and cheery when greeting others.

Krys and Amber always try to help Zuka any way they can. Whether it be talking to him to keep him calm or sparing the beast a new trinket they think he might like. On the other hand, Ripley tries to bring that anger out of Zuka. He says that Zuka is too soft, pun not intended, and that the anger that Zuka hates so much is his true potential. Ripley will often poke fun at Zuka or try to work him up. Despite this, Zuka doesn’t hate Ripley.

Zuka lives alone in a treehouse he made himself situated not too far off of a nearby town. He used to live in a cave but the damp, dark and cold was not very soothing for him. When entering, the treehouse can be seen lovingly decorated with hanging strings of shiny gems and painted stones, small discarded pieces of furniture that the beast had recycled and patched up and even an old telescope. It seems that he sleeps on an old beanbag.
