About
Viro is an interesting chap. While he looks fierce and menacing, he really is a softie when push comes to shove. He was indeed trained to fight by his father who worked for a criminal organization as the hired muscle, used to intimidated anyone the organization wanted him to. Viro was trained in his early years to become an attack dog like his father, but he hated fighting. Eventually Viro ran away from home, for confronting his father was out of the question. Viro's father had a temper like no other and would not hesitate to take it out on Viro if he doesn't live up to the ideal he should be.
So he left and wandered around for a while. He was tempted more then once to go back to his father. Was his old life really that bad? Surly, it wasn't worse then this? Being alone all the time with no one to lean on. It was then at his lowest point that Viro stopped feeling sorry for himself. Sitting there crying isn't going to help anything, so Viro kept moving forward, stronger then he was before and determined not to ever turn back. It was then that he realized he was truly happy living life on the road, where he didn't have to answer to his father's wishes.
The necklace that Viro wears was his father's and no one really knows why he still keeps it around because even now he never mentions his father. Occasionally he will comment about the pain his father put him through, but in the end it is clear that Viro regards his father with nothing but bitterness. Still he always carries that necklace with him.
Viro never talks about what happened to his ear, most assume it happened during a training accident when he was young. Whenever someone asks about it he deflects the question.
