Casimir is an enigma to those around him. To his housemates and peers, he seems to lack deep feelings and emotions, but this is only a façade. He hides behind a mask, never allowing any weakness to surface. Even when directly provoked or insulted, he'll only flash a strange, crooked smile, as though he is amused by others' attempts to hurt him.
He has little patience, and is prone to teasing those that displease him, making witty remarks at their expense. Casimir has the natural ability to see a person's greatest insecurities, and he uses this "gift" to wield power over others, playing on their doubts and fears in order to get his way, or to exact revenge. Casimir does not have friends, although he does have a sizeable group of sycophantic followers.
He is known as adventurous and a risk-taker, as he is willing to try anything new or novel. He often drinks and engages in many fleeting relationships. These things provide him with a distraction from the dull ache in his chest, the melancholy feeling that settles in and takes ahold of him when things are quiet, and he is at rest.
Malihnor, who had sensed the deep unease in the young gryphon, has sought to take Casimir under his wing. In the beginning, Casimir rejected the old dragon's attempts to reach out to him, but as of late the two of them have struck up a tentative acquaintanceship. Once, the mask slipped, and Casimir confided in Malihnor, telling him about a younger sister whom he loved dearly, and the aggressive older brother who terrorized the two of them throughout their childhood. Casimir has not spoken of his past since that night, and the mask of normalcy has stayed firmly in place, but Malihnor is a patient dragon, and he will be there to support the gryphon if ever Casimir needs him.
He is very protective of his pet bat, Calixto, and will probably bite you if you try to pet him.
