Clyde grew up a farmgirl in the rural area, mostly a ranch hand looking after some of the minipets the place raised. Raised by her dad and brothers due to her mother having left them Clyde grew up as 'one of the boys' and loved it. Even when her mother had been around and tried to girl her up Clyde only played with her dolls when she was having them fly off of shelves on toy cars or playing kick-up with them, seeing how long she could keep them in the air with just her low-hooves.
She got her first taste of adventure when her little brother Horus went out exploring too far and she had to go out to find him only to end up attacked by a lesser fire demon. Having to act quick she tackled it into the water and pummeled it with her steel horseshoe clad hoof until it passed out. Heading home Horus ran around telling everyone how tough Clyde was, and so the rumour about the horseknight Clyde was spread of course with a name like Clyde everyone thought she was a he and she never really bothered to correct them since it didn't matter much to her she'd always been one of the guys what did it matter if she was actually a she anyway? Well soon Clyde was getting sent out to retrieve stolen items, find lost pets or children or keep the dangerous types away from the town and she was more than happy with this life. Fighting, training and the cheers of people she helped made her feel good inside.
