Appearance: Oscar is average height with bright ginger hair and freckles. He has to always wear his huge rounded glasses, as they’re from his father, who died when he was 10. He has green and blue spots down his back, tail, ears and head, and he has a strange eye problem, allowing his eyes to have yellow, blue and green pigments in them. His tail is abnormally long for his species, but due to his usual personality, he always keeps it elevated in order to keep it clean. He doesn’t have the best posture, as he doesn’t seem to care unless he’s in the company of his partner.

Clothing choices: Large, baggy clothing, ripped jeans and Doc Martens when he’s outside. If he’s alone or with his partner he’ll wear a jumper dress or something to that effect. Will likely wear women’s clothing that shows the shoulders.

Personality: He’s shy and reserved due to his upbringing, and will refuse to talk to anyone who doesn’t talk first. He’s kindhearted and gentle, but perhaps on the extreme. He doesn’t care about himself in the slightest and will always put others before himself in any scenario, no matter the consequences. But, he’s a very loving person and is extremely forgiving.

Family: He’s a single child with only his mother, who’s alcoholic and abusive. She won’t care about him unless he gets in her way, annoys her or stops her from doing something she wants to do. Hence, he mainly stays in his room, and fairly often will use his window as a way out to get to college. His house is a bungalow, so it’s not like it matters. His bedroom is minute, with just enough room for a single bed and a trunk of his few items of clothing inside.
His father supposedly died of a disease that hadn’t been discovered yet, and the doctors couldn’t do anything to keep him alive, so Oscar’s father passed when he was 10 years old. Since then his mother had been drinking heavily, and blames Oscar for her husband’s death. Oscar wears his father’s glasses, which he desperately needs to see, as an equal reminder that he is to blame for his father’s death, as his mother tells him.

Relationships: He’s been in two relationships, the first was an elaborate set up by the popular people in his college, to make fun of him more than they do at this point in time. Which worked, and he fell for the girl they set him up with. Eventually he found someone else, a male, and they’re currently together. (character design soon)

Backstory: He’s depressed, anxious, and self-harms as often as he sees the opportunity to, as he has been since his father’s death. His mother will often encourage him to do worse, but he never does. He’s not a believer in the afterlife, and is terrified of what happens after death. He’s bullied for his accent and hair colour in college, and at home for his gender and for his father, so until he meets his boyfriend there was no escape. However, when he did, his life, at least when they were together, seemed so much better, and he felt better when around him. He was confident and happy, and it’s only when his partner slept over that he realised Oscar’s situation, but Oscar refused to leave his mother when his partner offered him his house to stay in. He still lives in his mother’s house. (subject to change, stay tuned folks)

Likes: Baggy jumpers, being himself, dressing up, his partner, writing poetry and symbolic short stories.

Dislikes: college, people, being outside.

Extras: He’s a decent writer, and when he grows older he wants to write fiction novels (if he gets that far) He will rarely talk to anyone else but he would really like it if people talked to him? So feel free to comment and he’ll talk right back!
