Byte is a very quiet individual, talking mostly to the plants she grows. This makes her similar to Irix, in a way, having non-furry friends, and they've grown to care for each other for that. She loves her friends a lot, and often cares for them like her plants when they're down.
One October, as she was tending to her plants, she found a small injured creature in her pumpkin patch. She took it to Irix, who identified it as a Pumpkitty, and cared for it until it was well enough to go back to the wild. However, it hung around Byte's plants and refused to leave, so she decided to take it in as her pet, naming it Beerah.
