Chester is a lost spirit he was banished for a well taboo action he was going to be executed but it was changed to banishment as they figured it would be a much better punishment.
After being banished he stumbled across Azure which he stalked for the longest time he wanted to be Azure's freind but he was much to shy to approach him eventually Azure got fed up with his stalking and asked Chester why he as stalking him so much and well Chester told him he wanted to be his friend so Azure seeing nothing wrong with Chester agreed to while he said he wouldn't be his freind at first let Chester' follow and live with him and eventually Chester's overall nice and sweet personality grew on Azure and and they formed an unbreakable bond. Chester did actually end up falling for Azure,and he has told Azure how he loves him but Azure does not love him that way and Chester as much as it hurts him respects his decision. While Chester is nice and kind to everyone especially Azure. Azure on the other hand will only show his softer side to Chester.
