Lieven - "Dear friend"
Pronounced "lee-vuhn"
Lieven is an extremely sensitive soul, and very, very skittish. He'd sooner run from an intimidating stranger than investigate. His shyness and delicate temperament make him an easy target for manipulation and intimidation- at least, they would if not for the watchful eye of his roommate Velox.
The fragile lapine had had reservations in regards to his current bestie way back when they shared a kindergarten class in their youth. Velox appeared to be a big, scary predator who would sooner eat you than look at you, and so the little bunny avidly kept his distance. It wasn't until many years and many moves later that the rabbit found himself back in the same town as his old acquaintance, and, in dire need of a place to stay, agreed to rent an apartment with Velox until they could gather enough money to go their separate ways. The rabbit hadn't been expecting this predator to be so friendly and accomodating, though, and ended up sticking with him as he moved addresses to Dragonsmaw Manor. Lieven now spends his time tending to the garden outside their creepy cottage, the soil teeming with even creepier flora.
Lieven enjoys staying inside rather than venturing into the woods or the town itself--too many scary types wandering about for his liking. He finds safety in their secluded woodland cottage, and is more than happy to stay at home and listen to Velox's tales of adventuring rather than going out and experiencing the dreadful things himself. He's still working on warming up to the house's newer arrivals, and while he'd never say it out loud for the sake of coming across as rude, the fact that they're all carnivores makes him very uneasy.
He speaks both fluent Dutch and English, and enjoys reading, cooking and baking, gardening, soap operas, vintage radio, and organizing tea-and-book parties with Velox. Privately, he's always enjoyed the thought of one day running his own bakery or working in a book store, though he doesn't believe the area he lives in would be welcoming of his ambitions.
He uses masculine pronouns more for simplicity's sake than anything else, though his gender tends to vary more often than that of Velox's. He likes looser summer or spring clothing, open-top shoes, and big, floppy sunhats.
