Rose is a demigirl (she/her, xie/xir) snowy owl explorer who was born in Quetzal Palace, moved to Dragonmaw Manor, and moved back to her hometown of Quetzal Palace for a change of scenery. She's naturally very curious, which tends to land her in trouble with law enforcement, since she usually ends up wandering onto government property.
