The Slingers: The wilds were their calling. They pushed the front, safeguarding the City while paving the way for it's growth.
A large building on the western side of the village stands nigh within the forest. Defiant against the wilds, but wounded from exposure, faded wood rots and peels off the walls and the ceiling sags under its own weight. A sign hangs above the door, on it, one of the residing Slingers has painted a scroll and a compass. Inside, the smell of old wood drifts out from the floor and walls. Creaky shelves, seemingly alive in their own right, lean dramatically in every direction. On them, sit mysterious plants and artifacts from other lands, the occasional one snaps at passer-byes.
"Hey there! I'm Marla, I'm a Slinger like Incu'un! That grumpy bunny over there is my brother, say hi Yahlei! No? He comes with us on adventures sometimes when we know the area is dangerous. My husband is Fahem, he's a little reserved at first but you'll learn to love him! Anyway, gotta run! Creepy ruins and dark forests to explore, oh, it's so exciting isn't it?"
