Mateo is a rather boisterous and rowdy crocodile, naturally being the center of attention. She used to practice as a warrior but ultimately put down her weapons and instead chose to build and create primarily as a carpenter. Her line of work means that she's on good terms with most everyone in the group; she routinely checks the durability of the houses she's built to ensure the safety of her friends. She's particularly fond of Flores and spends most of her time building pots for his garden, finding it rather therapeutic and enjoying helping the deer out.
