Kenneth Beax is the rhythm bassist and rhythm guitarist of the electro-metal band The Thunderheads.
Kenny met the rest of the band post-mortem, in Jigoku. In life, he was a deeply unhappy person that was constantly stricken with misfortune. His finances were terrible, he could never hold down a job, his friends mistreated him, every partner he could find took advantage of him, and his struggles with depression worsened by the day. The only thing he had to keep him going was his music, but every moment of his spare time was so difficult to manage that he couldn't find any time to pursue his own passions. Finally he had enough, and took his own life to try and escape the pain of living.
When he awoke in the underworld, the weight of everything that he'd been dealing with was lifted, and a hole burned in his heart in its place. He felt hollow, empty, regretting what he did but wondering if anything would have changed if he hadn't. That was when he met Kiara, a broken wannabe songbird that was just as lost and lonely as he was, tossed aside by life and regretting all the choices they've made along the way. The two of them found solace and companionship in each other, and Kenny felt some of the wounds he'd made in life starting to heal. He helped Kiara get back on her feet, and tried teaching her some of the musical knowledge he'd been accumulating throughout the years, while brushing up on some of his skills at the same time. When the two of them met Sasha, Ace, and Maes, Kenny finally found a place he could call home. To him, The Thunderheads was more than just a band, it was the family he'd been missing his whole life.
