Secretive and quiet, Steals-the-Sun rarely opens up. Of those he does speak with, few know his name and even fewer know of his particular affliction... Though some have their suspicions...

Hardened by his time in the Riften Ratway; Sun still finds it difficult, sometimes nigh impossible, to feed on humans. He prefers to feed on the Ratway's skeever population, as disgusting as they are. Often when night falls he sneaks out into Lake Honrich to feed on salmon or slaughterfish, bringing back the drained fish for the others who live in the Ratway. They have learned not to question the lack of blood in the fish.

Steals-the-Sun has some proficiency in alchemy and necromancy. The idea of raising a non-animal corpse disgusts him. He is able to summon lesser Daedra, but prefers not to.

Steals-the-Sun used to be known as one of Tamriel's most skilled artists, his works so beautiful and vibrant that even the sun seemed duller in comparison; seemingly stealing the vibrancy of the world around him and putting it to canvas. Despite Sun's skill, and the wealth and notoriety that came with it, Sun was always a gentle soul. Kind and amicable, and always open to conversation.

That all changed when Sun was ambushed, bitten, and turned by a vampire on his trek from Cyrodil to Skyrim. Knowing the vicious reaction mortals usually have to vampires, Sun disappeared. He abandoned his cart, taking only what would fit in his bag, and faked his death. Sun traveled until he reached Riften, then slipped into the Ratway. He now lives there, preying on the beggars and vagabonds that live there with him. He has limited contact with the Thieves Guild, but prefers to avoid them.
