About
Often known as Jehkar-Rethqoc or formerly as Stalks-The-Reeds, Lost used to live for the stage. He'd drop anything to perform. His passion for music and theater was so strong that he traveled all the way from Cyrodiil to the Bards College in Solitude. By argonian standards, he had a voice fit for singing and performance.
Current day, Lost-His-Voice is quiet and reclusive, leaving his home just outside Riften's walls in order to work or visit the shops. He prefers to communicate via gestures or written notes in order to avoid hearing what, in his mind, is an embarrassment of a voice. He prefers to let his wife, Sings-Many-Songs, do the talking. When he does speak, his voice is low, breathy, and notably more coarse than the average argonian.
Despite his reserved nature, he has a decent relationship with Talen-Jei and Keerava, the owners of The Bee and Barb, where he works part-time.

Biography
Not much is known of Lost-His-Voice's life before he arrived in Skyrim aside from the fact that he was born to a family of fishermen outside of Thorn, Blackmarsh, later moved to Cyrodiil, and that he had a passion for the performing arts and especially singing. He traveled to Skyrim to pursue his passion at the Bard's College in Solitude. Lost would meet another argonian there, with stunning ruby scales, an argonian named Sings-Many-Songs. The two quickly grew close, only separating when they graduated. After graduation, he spent a few years as a traveling bard. He sung and performed at just about any venue that'd have him.
Unfortunately, due to repeated over-use and abuse of his voice, Lost developed vocal nodules and chose to ignore them. This decision would lead to severe scarring on his vocal cords that would permanently alter his voice, ending his career and sending him into a downward spiral.
Lost would spend some years living in Haelga's Bunkhouse, picking up work wherever he could that didn't force him to speak.
During a short stint traveling with some noble merchants their caravan would be robbed, and would come face-to-face with a familiar set of ruby scales. It was his old friend from Solitude, though she looked drastically different. Lost held her attention until she was arrested.
Lost-His-Voice would visit Sings-Many-Songs in prison and learned that she'd changed her name to Ahtien-Thuxis and had, apparently willingly, joined a life of crime. Despite having been held at knife-point by his old friend, Lost extended an olive branch and offered to pay her bail, on one condition: she leave her life of crime behind. Sings accepted his offer without hesitation.
Lost would be welcomed into Sings' home and the two once again grew close. Lost proposed to her with an amethyst necklace and they married shortly after. The two now run a small shop from their home outside of Riften, Lost selling fish and Sings selling potions and tonics.
