Villager: Camelia

Camelia is an Istel, a descendant of a nature spirit cursed for rebelling against their goddess. As an inheritor of that curse, she is forced to feed on the life force of other living beings in order to survive and cast magic. In order to get close to her prey, she is able to shapeshift into other creatures.

Though most Istel lead solitary lives, changing form only when necessary, Camelia made the unorthodox (and not entirely voluntary) choice to permanently live among other races after her territory was threatened. Torn between Istel cultural norms and her increasing comfort in her assumed persona, Camelia now struggles to find an identity she can accept as her own.

Still a huge asshole though, all things considered.
