Hi there! This is a Scrawlyface. The first one in fact!
Scrawlyfaces are small furred mammalian creatures that have canvas/chalkboard/markerboard faces on which they can draw their own face (though usually, terribly).
Scrawlyfaces are not born, but are instead forged by other scrawlies from forgotten ideas, abandoned creative endeavours and large gatherings of creative energies - this is why they are often found lurking around galleries, workshops and by street art, though each type has their own preferred creative environment.
In addition to having a preferred environment, different types of Scrawlyface have a preferred artistic medium - be it acrylic, wax, clay or otherwise. These materials are usually 'borrowed' from the places and people they frequent, to the annoyance of many artists. Scrawlyfaces with similar preferences are often seen fighting over materials.
A common type of Scrawlyface house.
Their houses are generally made from old art materials and are often disjointed and mashed together. They cover the walls with their artwork. Where several scrawlyfaces live in one house, you can see their separate styles meld and clash in different parts of the house.
Quick fact 1: Although their heads are solid, Scrawlyfaces can rotate their ears around a fixed point.
