Villager: The Guinefort

Going gray around the whiskers, Guinefort is an older villager once well-known for his ferocity as a warrior. He's since stepped back into placid retirement; tending to a small stable on the edge of Foxbury and watching the skies for signs of rain, which makes his joints ache. He's become kindly and bookish in his golden years, but always seems ever so slightly distracted--perhaps by the sword over his mantle, which he can never quite forget that he may need to pick up once again in some terrible day of need.

When he's not tending to his animals, Guinefort often visits his friend and neighbor Hawthorn the deer, to chat and to help him in the garden. The truly curious can sometimes catch him practicing his old military forms at dawn, however slowly.
