I think its because they are trying to appeal to a younger audience and they think bathroom humor is the way to do that. I love how Ricky and Lucy were crazy but they were confident about it. They are a role model for chaotics every where! :)

Omg luug was one of the best characters! He didn't deserve the dream works fart jokes. Thats probably why 3 below wasn't as good as trollhunters. I feel like dreamworks got more control and dumbed it down. My favorite characters were Ricky and Lucy blank. I love how 50s cliche they were yet they still added so much energy to the show.

My biggest pet peeve with the writing was the villians. We didn't really get anything worthwhile with them and it turned in to your standard villain seeking godlike power story. That and Steve. I like that they tried to flesh him out somemore but he seemed alot dumber in 3 below than in trollhunters. He was annoying most of the time he was on screen.

I didn't like it as much as trollhunters. 3 below didn't seem as well written as trollhunter. I am kinda hoping wizards will have better writing. Guillermo del Toro seems better at writing fantasy than sci fi.
