Walking through the streets of Ouroboros, you see through the front window of a house a cat organizing plushes on a shelf in their front room, with what looks like a bright red lizard - no, axolotl - draped over her shoulder. Curious, you knock on the door, and after a moment the cat opens it for you.
"Hello? Can I help you?"
"Oh, I was just organizing my collection. Come in, let me show you."
The cat leads you inside, gesturing at the various shelves and displays bearing all kinds of items - plushes, precious stones, works of art, limited time items, treasures...weapons, currency, and potions, however, are conspicuously absent.
"This is just the tip of the iceberg. I have plenty more in various rooms. Nothing quite so large and chaotic as Belphegor's hoard, but a sizable collection nonetheless."
The cat scowls.
"That demon - he has treasures upon treasures, and stuffs them away in his storehouse to gather dust! If he doesn't appreciate and display what he has then he doesn't deserve to have them!"
The cat huffs, before looking at you sheepishly.
"Where are my manners? My name is Peridot, and this here is my friend Garnet. And yours?"
"Yes, I'm a collector of fine things, as you can tell. Belphegor and I...let's just say we have a disagreement, and an understanding not to touch each other's things."
"My hobbies? Well, you could say collecting things is my hobby. I also enjoy traveling, which has the bonus of being able to search out various collectibles. I must admit, I'm a little...well. Everything has it's place, and everything is nicely organized, well kept, and clean. More than I can say for Belphegor's collection."
"At any rate, if you have collectibles of your own, I'm more than happy to take them off your paws. I can pay well for them. Or perhaps you'd prefer a trade? I can do that."
Peridot smirks at you, tail slowly flicking from side to side.
"Think about it. My offer stands. Now, I do believe you had business to attend to? I need to get back to tidying up my displays as well."
With a polite farewell, you exit the house, leaving the cat to pull out a dusting cloth and start cleaning a button display. Idly, you wonder if the 'understanding' they came to came after many fights over their hoards...
