There are roads here, pale and cobbled and unfamiliar to most passers-by. Thin, yellow-green weeds spring from between the stones, and the slight layer of dust is broken by footprints and the distinctive drag marks of an Imperial's tail. Tall buildings-- or the ruins of them-- line the gently curving street. It must've been a great city, once. It might've been beautiful.
The narrow thoroughfare opens onto a wide courtyard. On sunny days, there may be a dragon or two, endeavoring to get the fountain at the center working again. More often, the crews are occupied with the restoration of the surrounding buildings. The wide, long hall at the far side has already been repaired, seeming like a being frozen before motion, standing solid and resolute on marble-pillar legs. From before the thick, worn oak doors, soft murmuring can be heard within. Those dimly lit chambers, draped with dust and dark velvet, are where the decisions are made.
It is only at night that the runes come out, circling the perimeter of the citadel and winding up its five tall towers. From their heights there are no watchmen, only scrawling, illegible white letters, blazing with a light to rival the stars. No one dares exit once dusk falls, for fear of what lurks in the darkness of the Hewn City; strangely, no one dares enter, either. Perhaps they are just as fearful of the creatures that lurk within, of those powerful or insolent enough to thus inscribe their entry archway:

Oh they don't actually go nuts like that. I've held one too. It's not the beak you gotta watch our for it's if you get too close to the claws. They will rip you up.
You can hold a hawk just as you can grab a spinning saw blade. Depends on the saw. In some cases the birds will freeze up in fear. Other times the fight or flight response will kick in and they will try to mutilate you in horrific fashion.

The same works with larger batteries like AAA size, if dropped on their end. I could never remember whether bouncing meant good or bad. The bad battery bouncing away ("let it go, it's useless") will be my mnemonic from now on.
Yes they will bounce more as they discharge but that doesn't necessarily mean they're dead.
It's more an indication of how new they are.
Well, it's true in that a dead battery WILL 'bounce' higher than a full battery. It's just that a 50% charged battery will ALSO bounce higher than a full battery, so, it's more of a good guideline as opposed to a cut-and-dried foolproof method.
Thats why the solution is emulation. Nintendo doesnt want to offer the game to players today then go and download it, no one is losing out.

Extend my stay to NY by a week, do it all again next weekend. What did you expect? That we hold US customs accountable? Supply and demand and if there is a demand for quality the price will go up. You can buy controllers for pc from any console. Besides it'll never be 1:1 cause you'll never be the same person you were when you played it originally.

Yes, the price going up due to the extra demand placed by speculators is why people are pissed. I'm not sure what your point is, there. Also, "you're not the same person" is irrelevant. I'm referring to objective technical limitations present in emulation, not on original hardware. For example, input delay tends to be measurably longer on emulation compared to original hardware or an FPGA, even on relatively simple systems, like SNES
Chrome, OperaGX and Samsung Mobile Web browser aren't working.
Microsoft Edge may or may not work. it's working on PC for me but it's not for others. May be version related for Edge? (or edge is just weird.)
I'm sure there's other browsers that are and aren't working, but we have collectively noticed that these don't seem to work.
Firefox Browser works on both mobile and PC as well as Vivaldi on PC.
If you or a friend are having problems please do add what web browser is being used and what kind of device for more info.
Most of the web browsers are mentioning that the site isn't secure in some way as shown in my above screen shot.
use windows with opera GX, but for mobile, i'm on iOS with chrome and he's on android with chrome.

The site has been labeled as "Not secure" for ages already and that all has to do with an expired certification that basically just gives a stamp of approval to the site if you pay them money, it's not any less secure than all other websites that do have a certification unless there is a vulnerability in the site's coding
A prime example of what I mentioned above is that this one dumpster fire of a website I play on that I shall not name has a Secured certification, so it shows that the site is secure, but it couldn't be any less true because the coders are incompetent as all hell and there are massive security flaws and risks on the website, anyone who knows what they're doing can easily access the entire site's database pretty much

I literally said the reasons. Why is everyone's brain so broken on this? You don't need to know an item's specific price to draw a reasonable conclusion that an old, sealed item in a fancy case with an apparent grade on it is a thing collectors value. My point here isn't "anybody would know this is worth a lot of money." My point, as I said, is that there are a lot of people who would know or make the reasonable assumption that this is a collectable that may be valuable.

Reya thought to herself, she quietly stepped out of the door, her parents where busy in their blacksmith's workshop, not noticing her absence, well usually...
Instead of doing something productive, like her fire magic training, the young Ineki decided to take a break, a demanding voice within her called her to the water. As her family were traditionally blacksmiths, she was supposed to learn it too and master the fire. But rather, she was much more drawn towards the water element.
It was a hot and humid day, perfect for a refreshing swim in the water. Arriving at the beach, she noticed that the sand appeared to have an intense iridescent shimmer today, rather than the usual tan or beige colour.
2 Feel
Reya observed the beach, but except the sand, everything else was as usual, though the water felt so much more inviting today, it made her feel like something good could happen today... The endless waves were beautifully flowing and resolving upon the sandy shore.
Reya slowly slipped into the water, until her fur was fully wet, then she swam out! Having visited the sea here often, she also got aquainted with some of the Sea Kelphs that live here and she hoped to meet them again. The kelphs here are rather reserved so instead of some sort of a conversation, "only" a shy hello is the standard when encountering them.

The sunbeams intensified during the middle of the day, and it got windy. Enjoying the cool water, Reya swam even further. In the distance she saw something shiny - or someone- moving about, curiously she swam towards it.
As Reya came closer, she recognized the shiny something appeared to be a blue sea kelph -with shiny scales reflecting the sunlight. The kelph was standing on some particularly shaped orange board riding on the waves.
The kelp noticed Reya and come closer, saying loudly, " Hey Ineki, getting ya floofs all wet!", followed by a cute giggle.

Surprised by this lively and seemingly high-spirited kelph, Reya replied awkwardly, "Well, I tried to grow me some scales but it didn't work out haha..." trying to make a joke.
"Yeah them scales don't come easy!", the kelph laughed and rode another wave on her board and was now right beside Reya. She smiled at the kelph and said "Hi there, what is this board, it's awesome!", she had never seen a wave riding board like this.
"This? It's my surfboard, wanna ride sum' waves with me floofy?" the kelph said, smiling super proudly.
"Ooh really, I'd love to, thanks!!!", giving the smile back, Reya cheerfully jumped on the surfboard and held onto the kelp that was much taller than her. They surfed on the waves and played in the water until the evening - when the sun began setting and the first stars became visible in the sky!
"Guess it's time to hit the hay floofy!" the kelph said giggling, who intruduced herself as Chime. Apparently Chime and her family just moved into a home near the beach here.
"Yeah, thanks for the fun day Chime!"
Together they happily surfed back to the beach through the starry sea, looking forward to seeing each other again soon.

This works with most batteries, you drop an a, aa, b, c, d and they will stand if good and fall if bad

The same works with larger batteries like AAA size, if dropped on their end. I could never remember whether bouncing meant good or bad. The bad battery bouncing away ("let it go, it's useless") will be my mnemonic from now on.
Yes they will bounce more as they discharge but that doesn't necessarily mean they're dead.
It's more an indication of how new they are.
Well, it's true in that a dead battery WILL 'bounce' higher than a full battery. It's just that a 50% charged battery will ALSO bounce higher than a full battery, so, it's more of a good guideline as opposed to a cut-and-dried foolproof method.
Thats why the solution is emulation. Nintendo doesnt want to offer the game to players today then go and download it, no one is losing out.

Supply and demand and if there is a demand for quality the price will go up. You can buy controllers for pc from any console. Besides it'll never be 1:1 cause you'll never be the same person you were when you played it originally.

Yes, the price going up due to the extra demand placed by speculators is why people are pissed. I'm not sure what your point is, there. Also, "you're not the same person" is irrelevant. I'm referring to objective technical limitations present in emulation, not on original hardware. For example, input delay tends to be measurably longer on emulation compared to original hardware or an FPGA, even on relatively simple systems, like SNES
Chrome, OperaGX and Samsung Mobile Web browser aren't working.
Microsoft Edge may or may not work. it's working on PC for me but it's not for others. May be version related for Edge? (or edge is just weird.)
I'm sure there's other browsers that are and aren't working, but we have collectively noticed that these don't seem to work.
Firefox Browser works on both mobile and PC as well as Vivaldi on PC.
If you or a friend are having problems please do add what web browser is being used and what kind of device for more info.
Most of the web browsers are mentioning that the site isn't secure in some way as shown in my above screen shot.
use windows with opera GX, but for mobile, i'm on iOS with chrome and he's on android with chrome.

The site has been labeled as "Not secure" for ages already and that all has to do with an expired certification that basically just gives a stamp of approval to the site if you pay them money, it's not any less secure than all other websites that do have a certification unless there is a vulnerability in the site's coding
A prime example of what I mentioned above is that this one dumpster fire of a website I play on that I shall not name has a Secured certification, so it shows that the site is secure, but it couldn't be any less true because the coders are incompetent as all hell and there are massive security flaws and risks on the website, anyone who knows what they're doing can easily access the entire site's database pretty much
Whatever is going on is most likely Chromium based browsers tripping over themselves because of an update

I literally said the reasons. Why is everyone's brain so broken on this? You don't need to know an item's specific price to draw a reasonable conclusion that an old, sealed item in a fancy case with an apparent grade on it is a thing collectors value. My point here isn't "anybody would know this is worth a lot of money." My point, as I said, is that there are a lot of people who would know or make the reasonable assumption that this is a collectable that may be valuable.

Reya thought to herself, she quietly stepped out of the door, her parents where busy in their blacksmith's workshop, not noticing her absence, well usually...
Instead of doing something productive, like her fire magic training, the young Ineki decided to take a break, a demanding voice within her called her to the water. As her family were traditionally blacksmiths, she was supposed to learn it too and master the fire. But rather, she was much more drawn towards the water element.
It was a hot and humid day, perfect for a refreshing swim in the water. Arriving at the beach, she noticed that the sand appeared to have an intense iridescent shimmer today, rather than the usual tan or beige colour.
2 Feel
Reya observed the beach, but except the sand, everything else was as usual, though the water felt so much more inviting today, it made her feel like something good could happen today... The endless waves were beautifully flowing and resolving upon the sandy shore.
Reya slowly slipped into the water, until her fur was fully wet, then she swam out! Having visited the sea here often, she also got aquainted with some of the Sea Kelphs that live here and she hoped to meet them again. The kelphs here are rather reserved so instead of some sort of a conversation, "only" a shy hello is the standard when encountering them.
3 Distant
The sunbeams intensified during the middle of the day, and it got windy. Enjoying the cool water, Reya swam even further. In the distance she saw something shiny - or someone- moving about, curiously she swam towards it.
As Reya came closer, she recognized the shiny something appeared to be a blue sea kelph -with shiny scales reflecting the sunlight. The kelph was standing on some particularly shaped orange board riding on the waves.
The kelp noticed Reya and come closer, saying loudly, " Hey Ineki, getting ya floofs all wet!", followed by a cute giggle.

Surprised by this lively and seemingly high-spirited kelph, Reya replied awkwardly, "Well, I tried to grow me some scales but it didn't work out haha..." trying to make a joke.
"Yeah them scales don't come easy!", the kelph laughed and rode another wave on her board and was now right beside Reya. She smiled at the kelph and said "Hi there, what is this board, it's awesome!", she had never seen a wave riding board like this.
"This? It's my surfboard, wanna ride sum' waves with me floofy?" the kelph said, smiling super proudly.
"Ooh really, I'd love to, thanks!!!", giving the smile back, Reya cheerfully jumped on the surfboard and held onto the kelp that was much taller than her. They surfed on the waves and played in the water until the evening - when the sun began setting and the first stars became visible in the sky!
"Guess it's time to hit the hay floofy!" the kelph said giggling, who intruduced herself as Chime. Apparently Chime and her family just moved into a home near the beach here.
"Yeah, thanks for the fun day Chime!"
Together they happily surfed back to the beach through the starry sea, looking forward to seeing each other again soon.
