Greta Valris is an Imperial lieutenant located on the same base as Vaye and Zero. Though she graduated from the specialists' academy as a computer engineer, Greta more often than not finds herself working on simple IT odd-jobs and overall network administration. Greta's desire for more of a challenge in her career often leads her to taking on much more work than she reasonably should and just barely keeps with the goals she sets for herself. At first considering quitting, Greta eventually finds the endeavor - and the atmosphere of the base itself - entertaining enough to stick around in the long run.

Greta is outgoing and friendly, but has a reputation for being too talkative, too blunt, and giving absolutely awful attempts at emotional support. This doesn't seem to bother her, as her confidence overrides any sense of shame she otherwise might have from sticking out. Greta is highly competitive, both in terms of her career and her hobbies: in her spare time she enjoys kickboxing and relentlessly eavesdropping on others to see how much dirt she can get on as many people as possible. She befriended Vaye after fixing his computer a number of times, who in turn introduced her to Zero. The three have been pals ever since.
