Ahhhh... There's nothing more relaxing than gathering seeds, planting them, and yielding new plants... At least that's what Danika thinks. She loooooves to harvest! It's definitely the most exciting part of the whole career. But unfortunately, some of her plants don't make it. When that happens, Danika prepares a well-thought out funeral for each failed crop (she'll even shed a few tears for them too!). These WERE her babies after all (metaphorically speaking).
Now, Danika has always believed she was half girl and half... Well, something else let's just say. She's not even sure herself what the other half is! All she knows is that a tiny voice inside of her keeps saying, "You're not a full girl!" For all we know, she could probably be hallucinating (at least, that's what the other villagers think).
She has always been spiritual and uses some of her yielded crops to perform special rituals. She fully believes that one day, a ritual of hers will bring forth a spirit which will finally tell her what the other half of her gender is. At least she has the patience for it. She's willing to wait even until the afterlife for this spirit to come.
Danika has always believed that she looks wayyyyy too "punkish" for her personality (which is more or less of the typical hippie personality. She even sounds like the typical hippie). Huh. Wonder where she got that from. The other villagers say she looks like the typical spiritual horse they all know, but she insists otherwise. Maybe it's the mane? Well, anywho, she's trying to grow that out (kinda hard to though since she has a nervous habit of pulling her hair out. Danika, quit that, you silly mare!).
For clothing, she's an all natural, except for a string danging from her right ear with four threaded four-leaf clovers. She also has a necklace and bracelet full of four-leaf clovers.
She's taken by Penny who is oh so PERFECT for her since they both like things to do with nature. Danika likes growing plants and Penny likes breeding animals. They should both run for world's most perfect hand-in-hand couple! When Danika isn't doing her job and Penny isn't doing hers, they help each other with the opposite jobs (though Danika is skeptical that Penny is planting her herbs all wrong. They keep dying on her! Those poor Sea Trumpets...).
