Villager: Herbert

The Explorer and Herbalist polar bear Herbert is not the most amicable villager in Tigereye Peak, to put things simply. He keeps to himself a large majority of the time, and people aren't exactly tripping over themselves to talk to him in the first place. He doesn't go out of his way to actively harm people with malicious intent, but that doesn't mean he's friendly. On the contrary, he's rather grumpy and the opposite of outgoing. It's unclear exactly why he's so grumpy, but no one's eager to ask. He tends to be prone to illnesses, particularly Fur Overgrow for some reason. Maybe that's a factor in why he's in a bad mood. That being said, it's not absolutely impossible to befriend him. The easiest way to do so is if he owes you a favour (he will deny that you are friends, but he will stick around you and help you out, so perhaps he doesn't really mean what he says.)
He doesn't explore because he actually enjoys it; he just prefers to rely on himself for items, especially seeds. He's not even very good at navigation and has a bad habit of getting himself lost. Compared to exploring, Herbert honestly does enjoy being a Herbalist as he likes plants. Peter has taken this opportunity to laugh at the fact that both "Herbalist" and "Herbert" have "Herb" in them. Herbert does not find it amusing.

Bonds
Esther - Herbert knows little about Esther apart from her jobs and that she's a friend of Peter. He never had much of an opinion on her and assumed she wouldn't interact with him, but was proven wrong when he found a bottle of Miracle Gro Potion lying on his doorstep, and was shrewd enough to figure it was Esther who left it. He now repays her by doing the same regularly with his grown plants, though he's not sure if she realises it's him doing so.
Peter - Herbert quite dislikes Peter and would prefer to stay away from them, though Peter isn't going to let that happen.
Hala - Herbert has no particular opinions on Hala.
