Villager: Artemis

Borne to a chaste and devout woman to the Goddess, Artemis was born with a silver and gold moon mark on the back of her neck. The temple priestesses who had once scorned her mother for having lain with a man, immediately recognized the child as being the incarnate of their Goddess of the Hunt. Named for the Goddess, Artemis grew in grace, chastity, and freedom. She learned to heal, but never to make medicine. She learned to hunt, but always give an honorable death. She grew curious of this odd world, and ventured out exploring.
Her hound and constant companion, Orthia, is made from a beam of moonlight, pure and white.
