Incredibly prideful, though with a heart of gold hidden under his self-obsession, Piermont wandered into the village months ago and found himself unable to leave. The people here adored him, and he had no shortage of amazing stories of his adventures and battles to wow them with.
He was exactly the new kind of life the small village desperately needed.
If one pays close enough attention though, and knows enough about swordsmanship to spot such things, it's rather painfully clear he is an amateur at best with a blade. Luckily for him the only one in the small village able to spot such a thing is Rosegold, and she seems to find it amusingly endearing, seeming perfectly content to keep the fact to herself for the time being.
Though he acts very caring towards everyone, he clearly has a soft spot for children. A certain Sybil has especially taken quite the shine to him, begging daily to hear more of his adventures, and asking a million questions about them at every turn.
He is perfectly happy to answer them all.
