Mani is an explorer. Lacking the focus to bounce between jobs on a regular basis, he prides himself on being able to return a good hourly haul quickly. To accomplish this, Mani is prone to overexertion, and gets sick more often than anyone else. Related to Prroxy, but won't explain how.
Leads the group whenever Nick and Marro are exploring too, While he and Nick have some difficulty following one another's trains of thought, he enjoys Marro's company greatly and tries to include him in conversations and activities as much as possible. Mani appreciates the hyena's willingness to lend an ear, and lets on more about his troubles to Marro than to anyone else.
Mani spends free time hovering around Sophie and her slew of small animals, or burning off excess energy by training with Phoebe.
Otherwise he's often with Prroxy, awaiting medical treatment. He's a music aficionado and has a good, if quiet, singing voice, but couldn't understand sheet music if his life depended on it. Mani can be a chatterbox but has some trouble participating in conversations if he isn't confident with his knowledge of the subject. Tries his best to be a good listener, though his mind wanders frequently and he often finds himself asking for repetition. Likes to watch Tuesday work, and is genuinely interested in learning about the craft, but the combination of his poor focus and memory, along with his insatiable curiosity about the manokit's projects and materials, has led to him being chased out of the smithy on more than one occasion, often with harsh insults or a hail of old tools and spare parts. As a result, Mani is somewhat afraid of them now.
