About
She was born knowing she was different, knowing she was apart. Both Night and her brother come from a long line of Dreamers, but her power has always been darker, her presence a bit more unsettling; even before she performed the rights to become the next Dreamer, she knew she was not destined for the sweet dreams. Wishes formed pleasant dreams as easily as breathing, but Night was destined for darker dreams.
The ceremony was supposed to be an individual decent into the Night, to ride the currents of Dreams and emerge in her power to take the place of the Dreamer before her. But the tradition did not account for who she was, and when she finally stepped from the secluded chamber, her brother, had donned the mantle of Dreamer in her place. She had become Night Terror, the living Nightmare. Two sides of the same coin, the pair balance each other, with his power sending peace to troubled minds while hers touches emotions many would prefer to leave unfelt.
