Zel is the kind of furry that believes that everybody can be good, that anybody can be a good person if they just try and learn. And she is very generous with second chances. But if truly betrayed, she can quickly become brutal in her punishments, having no tolerance for those who take advantage of the kind-hearted.

She met Sitri allegedly a long time ago, when she was but a fledgling spirit. The demon is extremely, extremely protective over her, and she cares for him just as deeply. It is rumored that they fought in a war together, and there are more scars than the one on her cheek, hidden by magic. Neither of them talk much about their past except within their own family group. Warden, Deniz, and Garrett know snippets of their past, but won't reveal them to strangers.

Zel is mostly mute, except for rare occasions when she can render a few sentences. Sitri is usually there to interpret her sign language and spirit humming, but without him she is difficult to understand as she uses a completely different form of sign language than Fur Standard.

Surrounded by an aura of light and gentle humming, Zel can easily be found if you know where to look. She likes to garden and may be found socializing with Garrett while tending to her flowers. But she also enjoys healing the sick and may wander into Deniz's clinic to lend her magic and compassion to sick Furries. Or maybe she's flying with Warden, out on an adventure. Or perhaps she's in her stables, caring for her animals. Just ask around, you'll find her eventually.

She's close friends with Observer, oddly enough. She and the cobra can often be found playing together, either play fighting or just goofing around. She enjoys hitting him with pillows. He just sits there and takes it.
