About
Until recently, Dougal was a jackal.
That sounds like a bad joke, but it's true.
Habitually, he lives on the outskirts of ol'Spooky Town, and spends the afternoons and later evenings poking around the great, muddled mesh of forest and ruins that surround it in the search for anything remotely interesting, which he promptly turns around and sells to the locals for a healthy profit. A professional scavenger and Jack-of-All, if you need something found, dug up or tended to, Dougal might just be your man.
To that end, he was in the process of selling one of the crazier resident alchemists his regular fix of tiny, snappy, betoothed seeds, when a series of unfortunate events ended with him backing into a table of cooking ingredients.
Such was the result.
He'd be more cross about it, since he was nothing if not at least a little vain, but he has to admit he cuts a rather dashing figure this way. If it's a little mismatched, strictly speaking, color wise. But hey, a little dye might fix that right up.
