Years change people, it changes how their behavior is as well as how they may percieve the world and that is because with years comes experience in the reality we are forced to sit in. Same goes for the animal kingdom... Beyo had once a coat of browns and blacks mixed in with some minor white splotches but that was before both his mind and his body were subjected to a harsh and bitter cold. What was once such a warm soul became hardened, sour to any warmth that anyone dared to bring close to his shaggy body and oh how isolated he made himself out to be.
It had taken years to turn the teddy bear into the creature he is today, however that is only the sheet ice on the surface, it doesn't take much to crack the thin cover and if you hack just enough you too will see the warm creature this male used to be... A long time ago sure but it's just hidden to keep the world from hurting it. From hurting him.
