Kyoya is strong, very strong, both physically and mentally. However, he is very independent and hates working with anyone. He agreed to join the gang because they were 'interesting' - as he puts it - and because he got the chance to face more challenges after joining them.
Levi is Kyoya's best friend, which is a rare case for Kyoya because he is very isolated. He also has a crush on June and ironically, so does Levi. The both of them know about each other's feelings for her but they don't fight over it. This is because June's naiveness towards romance-related things causes her to see them both as just friends. They still fight over her but always end up protecting her together in the end.
Kyoya first joined the gang working as a doctor but he soon changed to work as a constructor to help expand the gang. He also did so because working as a constructor allowed him to be more alone compared to when working as a doctor.
