Wow it's super hard to see in this place, somehow there is literal video distortion happening to your eyes and you're not sure what's up with that but you treck on going deeper.

Vaporwave plays from a great distance, he's seemingly sleeping on a couch with a pattern made out of holorefelctive material. The he in question being a small mouse, the distortion is louder here. There is a television on with the sound muted, the screen shows nothing but colour bars.

Behind the couch hanging suspended in thin air are giant panes of blue glass, illuminated in the pitch darkness by the television screen and from behind by some foreign source, shifting waves of colour that mimic the ocean in the way one might see it from deep below looking up at the cold light above.

There is nothing but darkness around you, around him, there is just the void.

Choose from the following:

>Cough politely to get his attention.

>Hum the Drunken Whaler.

>Try to change the channel.

    • Her head would tilt to the side, watching as he rose. He looked groggy, sleep lacing his eyes and the canine couldn't help but feel bad for possibly waking him. She knew herself how unpleasant it was to be woken up earlier then intended. The sound of suction drew her attention to his tail, and she eyed it rather intrigued. That was interesting.. as was the television as it rolled after the mouse. Everything about this place was fascinating.

"They must be better with directions then I am." She joked lightly, her tail giving a gentle sway. The light the screen gave off was a nice change, helping light up the floor. It made the surrounding darkness all the more daunting though as it swam around them. Atriena wondered how far out it went and how vast this place truly was.

"TigerEye Peak, it's nothing too special though." Drifting her gaze away from the inky black surroundings she looked at him. "Just a small building nestled a bit east in the village. I decided to give into puns and name it Chill Out."

    • No one else had bothered to try and introduce their-self? That seemed sort of rude. That was normally one of the first things to come about when properly socializing. "Well glad I get to be the first then>" She replied with a light giggle.

The shift in the output of the voice was surprising, but welcomed. She was beginning to think the mouse was only capable of communicating through electronics."Nice to meet you as well." Atriena offered a slight bow of her head, finally inching closer to the couch with a soft smile. "Thankyou, the help would be greatly appreciated."

    • Just as she had finished reading the line of text, the screen flickered. Arching a brow, she blinked at the dull screen, half expecting something else to appear. It was silent for a moment and the faint hum of various electronics was somewhat distracting now that she noticed them. Was that faint music in the distance..? Atriena wasn't able to pin point the tune. The sudden voice snapped her back to attention with a light start.

"Ah possibly, I might have been taking out the trash." Try as she might to wrack her brain, nothing solid came forth. "What is this place anyways?" After a brief pause, she quickly added as if the realization of mannerisms dawning on her.. "Sorry dear, how rude of me. Didn't even introduce myself. I'm Atriena."

    • Ears would perk as the text shifted, watching the blinking cursor before more text appeared. Atriena wanted to draw closer, but didn't want to impose herself. Instead the canine folded her arms, metal limb somewhat chilled to the touch.
"Do you get a lot of visitors then?" After a brief pause she continued, vocals lightly laced with her accent. "I was closing down my pub last I can remember. I'm not sure how I got here."

    • Nyoom's crest lays flat with anxiety as the sound makes her head feel all fogged up. Her eyes are half lidded, being hardly able to even see what's going on. With some clumsy stumbling, she approaches the TV and attempts to change the channel with her dextarious primary feathers.

    • "Not really sure." Replying she took a tentative step closer. "I'd say somewhere interesting, but this place already seems to fit that. description." Which was true, her adventurous ways only making her more intrigued.

    • The brief darkness as the television flickered didn't seem to phase her. Gaze settled onto the screen, looking over the words.

      "Perhaps a little?"

    • The canine would shift, head tilting to the side in slight confusion. How had she gotten here anyways... maybe she took one too many martinis while handling the bar tonight. Eyeing the mouse curiously; Atriena cleared her throat with a polite cough in hopes of gaining his attention.

    • Warden swore the mouse felt familiar. The aura he gave off reminded vaer of a /certain/ owl in vaer household. Vae would hum for the mouse, but seeing as vae wasn't much of a hummer or a singer, instead vae rapidly tapped one hoof on the ground to the tune of the little ditty that the /certain/ owl likes to hum while working.

    • Well. This Is Interesting.
