"Just my luck..."
Born as one of the luckiest cats around, everything went great for Tabor until he ended up cat-burgled and lost on faraway city streets. He was lost and confused, with no memory of where he had come from, until he was picked up by a pair of cons.
Tabor picked up the trade pretty quickly and became a successful con artist; never meaning harm but doing ill none the less. Everything went well until he was caught by a powerful sorceress. She cursed him; 13 points of bad luck for everyone he had ever wronged. The only way to get rid of them all was to make up for his messes and do good deeds.
Despite much suffering, Tabor managed to right all but one of his wrongs: the sorceress. But when he tried to find her again, she was gone. Now he wanders, trying to keep to himself, in the hopes that one day he'll find her again.
Tabor's journey's to Oceandome led him down the path of herbalism. He grows plants because it lets him keep solitary (and aside from dead plants and some of the stuff from Dragonsmaw; what can really go wrong?). He's also been dabbling in medicines, so he's at least prepared to help out when his bad luck undoubtedly rears its ugly head.
