Marikh was not always the semi-friendly dragon he appears to be, but what he IS isn't entirely known. The lith isn't exactly forthcoming about his past, though Kadhael isn't judging him. So long as the fairy remains peaceful, he can stay.
He doesn't seem to mind the quiet, in fact, the dragon is rather reclusive, sticking to his garden on the outskirts of town. He seems willing to offer his herbs to the doctor in exchange for the occasional healing potion, but otherwise, leaves the other villagers alone.
