This snek is one of a kind. She has arms, she gardens, and doesn't eat meat. She hated eating meat, and was sickly as a child, from malnutrition. She just couldn't stomach eating small critters. So, her and Nyx worked together to figure out an alternative. Eventually, the two concocted a potion that enabled Ayame's body to properly digest, and use plant matter as energy she could use.
Her favorite pastimes are tending to her garden, and creating medicines for sick furries. She is rather shy, and hides away in her garden during the day, and her study at night. Her friend Nyx has endeavored to make a potion that gave Ayame arms, so she could garden, and brew medicines easier.
Nyx is the village alchemist, though is also the village explorer. Since she brews potions, she naturally works close with Ayame, since she is the village herbalist. They are good friends, one of the shy snake's few close friends.

"Of course!" Kes hopped a few paces ahead of the serpent, eager to see the flowers
Kes was taking a liking to the snake too; though granted, the owl was an amicable creature, and took a liking to most anyone who was kind to her in the least. The aroma of the roses the snake wore around her head was sweet and light, comparable to the early morning of summer, before the sun has fully risen.
"Ayame, that's a lovely name!" The owl extends her wing to the serpent's hand. "Forgive my lack of fingers, but I'm pleased as peach to make your acquaintance."
"Why thank you!" The barn owl hoots in delight. "It is a little difficult to keep on when flying, but fortunately I've never liked heights much anyway."

"I recently moved villages so I'm learning about all kinds of new plants! It's really fun." His ears twitched as he noticed the leaf and gave a soft chuckle.
"Well, howdy! It has been some time hasn't it? Gosh..I've been pretty busy lately with selling my flowers and I even have some new family members that have come to stay with me. Of course though you are always welcome to come chat with me!" Alphie gave a bright smile as he nodded, fixing his flower crown as it was slowly tipping off his head. "It's nice to see you!"
