Villager: Spatha Gilding

Spatha has always espoused justice as her ultimate goal, and will fly to the ends of the earth to enforce it—or, in her case, take up alchemy instead. Inspired by stories of powerful guardian dragons, she devoted herself to the study of potions, even stooping as to grow her own plants (though it didn't come as naturally as fighting or brewing). Her studies peaked in a single potion that allowed her to become one of the bastions of protection she so admired.

From there, she sprang into her job of defending the village with fierce enthusiasm. Her friends like to joke about her appearance finally matching the mulish obstinacy she has about her at all times. She likes to think of herself as a rational and logical person, but she takes things very seriously and is typically bitterly embroiled in any arguments she gets into.

She carries herself with an air of lordliness, though she frequently becomes disgruntled when she receives less acknowledgement than she imagined she would. Occasional disillusionment aside, she considers her task of protecting the village very important—though a part of her does wish she could fight against other warriors.

In her free time, she uses her alchemical knowledge to mix dyes for her armor and weapon hilts.
