About
I woke up, one day, searching for him.
He was gone.
And I....I did what I could to find him, to become one of his.
But instead, I became this. It's funny, though. It suits me better than being one of his kind.
I do much better to protect those under my wing, now, in this form.
Burindar has spent most of their life in service to others, protecting those weaker than them. They watched many lordlings grow old while protecting their grandchildren's grandchildren, as her lifespan is quite a bit longer than most. She used to be a stonechild, an elemental of earth born into a humanoid form. They are hundreds of years old, losing count somewhere in the 300s. The man they loved and wanted to stay with was a yuanti, and his kind could never accept a non-yuanti as more than a slave. They had both been searching for a transformation together. He was too proud to change his form. Burindar had little attachment to theirs, as long as the ones they care for could be protected.
