Villager: Goldwyn

In a snowy garden filled with various plants sits a gryphon, carefully lifting the petals of an Icehand flower with a talon. The gryphon is primarily black in color, with a golden mane surrounding her dark face. Her powerful arms, ending in cruel curved talons, are used for gentle horticulture rather than the tearing apart of prey. Calm brown eyes stare at the flower she is tending to, completely oblivious to anything else going on around her.

HISTORY:

Goldwyn was born on a cliff to a wild gryphon tribe that used holes in the cave’s walls as makeshift homes. As others had done, she learned to hunt and kill. However, she had no interest in fighting besides what had to be done in order to eat. The gryphon instead gravitated towards plants, and she aided her flock by bringing them various plants and herbs to cure their ailments. In time Goldwyn wished to grow beyond the tribe and departed for Tigereye Peak, where a few tough, hardy specimens manage to grow through the thick layers of ice and snow.

PERSONALITY:

Goldwyn is calm and patient, attributes which she learned from years of tending to growing plants. Despite being friendly enough, she is very quiet. She tends to disappear for days at a time, going off walking in the woods or flying through the icy mountains, but always manages to come back to her garden at the perfect time to tend to or harvest her plants.
