About
As one of the lower-class salamander citizens, Tigereye never got to see much action until the war was in full swing. The amphibian army began drafting young, able-bodied manders into all sorts of jobs, and Tigereye was placed in a construction job. His duty was to build barracks and shelters for the amphibian soldiers, as well as rebuild destroyed districts and residential civilian areas that had been ravaged by the war. Seeing all of the destruction that the war had caused on both sides prompted Tigereye to join the Alliance of Amphibians and Reptiles group, where he became a representative for the civilian class, seeing as he had experienced the disastrous effects of the war firsthand. When the war was on the decline, he went more seriously into his construction job and inspired many young amphibians and reptiles alike to help rebuild what had been destroyed during the war. He built bridges (both literally and metaphorically) across both lands as well as homes and hospitals. After the war had ended, he remained a construction worker and retired with a few previous salamander leaders to the Great Tree.
Tigereye (so named for the pattern on his eye and his sharp vision) is a serious, down-to-earth sort of salamander. Because he witnessed so much destruction in his life, he tends to internalize most things and bury them in projects or other work. His construction projects keep him rather busy, and he is rarely seen out doing leisure activities or socializing. He spends a good majority of his time in his workshop.
