In the Hollenhunde world, a constant war wages on between the Hollenhunde and the Spirit Beasts. The Hollenhunde want to take whatever resources remain from the Geist Weld Falls, the home of the Ancients and Spirit Beast Sanctuary.
Among the ranks of the Hollenhunde, the High Alchemist leads the charge in creation of society's deadliest poisons.
Astera Nyx, a younger Hollenhunde, is considered a prodigy in her work. Being merely 19 years of age, she earned her Alchemist Mark for her improvements on an already deadly gas bomb. At 15, she was accepted into the academy where the High Alchemist hand picked her personally for her astonishing intelligence.
Impressed by her high achievements, Gwern of the Toxizität Marsh took her in as her Kingdom's Lead Alchemist. Being in a such a toxic environment helped pushed Astera to use her surroundings to perfect her skill. However, the concoction she takes to thrive in such a place gave her horn deformities, such as her bridge horns. She's working on a cure for it, not with much success.
