Villager: Chase

Chase is a tall, lean fellow with light eyes and a silvery coat. He keeps himself in immaculate condition, always clean and free of mats. Despite his plush fur he prefers to wear at least some kind of clothing at all times as he dislikes exposing his body. He wears a constant tired and unimpressed expression, which along with his height make him seem far more intimidating than he actually is.
Infamous for rarely leaving his home, Chase is a quite peculiar fellow. He doesn't speak much, and when he does he tends to be tactless and awkward. He rarely has anything positive to say about anyone, but he doesn't mean offense-- he just states things as he sees them to be. Though due to his lack of social understanding he sees most things as "immature" or "wasteful" or "idiotic." In this respect he can be seen as quite rude, but he doesn't have a malicious bone in his body. He is extremely dedicated to his work as both an herbalist and a doctor. He spends all of his free time either refining his medicines or studying his plants. This leads him to often having a hard time understanding that his peers enjoy doing things other than their jobs.
Despite his social disability, he is extremely kindhearted. He cares deeply for his neighbors and only wants the best for everyone he meets. He can be overprotective often; he is already quite prone to anxiety, and he tends to appoint himself as a guardian figure to those he thinks fondly of.
Outside of his work, one could easily label Chase as "neurotic." He is perfectionistic to a fault and often becomes extremely anxious over quite petty matters. He also dislikes being touched and sometimes jumps at the feeling. He tends to follow a rather strict routine and can become upset if it's interrupted without notice. He has a tendency to express his anxiety through frustration and rambling, which can very easily drive away those close to him.
While he is often seen as odd, his compassionate heart and excellent work shine through it all. He wants nothing more than to benefit the lives of everyone in Tigereye Peak, and thus far he's done a pretty darn good job.
While he uses male pronouns, Chase is uncomfortable with all levels of sexuality, including physical body parts, so he tends to present himself as gender-neutral.
